Liquid spills must be removed from the floor immediately and wiped dry.
As dust and dirt accumulate, it should be removed dry – with a hoover or broom. May I wash parquet? No – it is enough to wipe it. For this purpose, a special flat mop-pad or an ordinary damp (not wet!), clean cloth is ideal. Do not use a washing vacuum cleaner to clean parquet: the large amount of water under pressure has a destructive effect on the natural wood.
Keep the mats in your home clean – they accumulate coarse particles of debris that can easily transfer to the floor and scratch it. For the same reason, you shouldn’t walk on the floor in street shoes and heels.
